I had a prayer session with Freedom & Fire in April 2025 and I can truly say it has been life transforming!

Through this ministry session I have come to a new realisation of the truth in Ephesians 6:12 in the Bible, where it highlights that the spiritual battle believers face is not against physical enemies, but against spiritual forces of evil. This verse emphasises that the struggle is not with flesh and blood, it is with the rulers, authorities, and powers of darkness, as well as against spiritual wickedness in the heavenly realms.

I was guided through some prayers to repent and to renounce the authority of certain powers of darkness which had a foothold.  The team prayed then for me and I was told there were intercessors praying in the background. 

As I yielded to the Lord and his Holy Spirit, I experienced a setting free from anger, shame, fear, a spirit of perfection, pride and a spirit of perversity amongst others. 

I have been married for over 40 years, there has been anguish and trauma along the way, with a significant period of separation and reconciliation.  Before the prayer and deliverance I was struggling to hold it together in the relationship, I constantly reacted with defensiveness and anger behind closed doors. It seemed my heart was becoming hardened, despite my genuine desire to please God and to have a good relationship with my husband. I recognise now that I was bound by strongholds within me. 

Following the session, I have experienced a deep peace within and a heart that is loving and filled with joy. I feel set free. 

My relationship with my husband is different, previously I blamed him for my wrong reactions and struggled to overcome.  I now feel such a strength inside and I am experiencing the fruit of the spirit operating, with self control being very evident. I often had no control over my wrong and destructive emotions, which highlights the danger of allowing the enemy of our soul (Satan) a foothold by being unrepentant. I understand now the power of refusing to allow Satan to have any authority in my life. 

There were 3 words of wisdom that I also bought away from the session:- submit to your husband (as my spiritual covering), don't let the sun go down on your anger and join a good fellowship of believers. 

I have also received a follow-up module, which will be so useful as a tool to prevent the enemy from having the victory again.
