Read Leilani's story of how she was healed from chronic illness in the name of Jesus! .......

“By grace you have been saved through faith.” These words ran through my head every day in the weeks following my time of prayer.
I had exhausted every avenue known to medicine to combat the array of illnesses my body was fighting. I was worn down and beaten, tired and defeated. With no clear end in sight, I clung to Jesus as my stronghold, my hope, and wondered when my day of deliverance would arrive.
On the morning of my ministry, I was hesitant about what this time might look like. Part of me was anticipating an eccentric physical response (like those you see in movies), but upon meeting the Freedom and Fire team my hesitations dispelled.
After sharing my testimony, possibly in its rawest form, I was led through various specific prayers. A magnitude of internal and physical healing occurred during this time. Physically, I yawned, alot, and afterwards felt great weight lifted from my heart, mind, shoulders (and interestingly spleen). Internally, God opened my heart wider than ever; blessing me with peace, understanding, and granted me wisdom over the internal storm that had been waging (both consciously and not) for many years.
In the weeks following my ministry, restoration continued, and through the GOOD grace of God, I now walked healed!
How good is our God to bless our community with people like those in the Freedom and Fire team!? How good is our God that he doesn't stray from, but instead meets us in our mess!? How good is our God that no matter our sinful nature, there is life and love and laughter for us to enjoy.
“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God's Masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” – Ephesians 2:8-9 (NLT)
