Laiken's Story

Read Laiken's story of how she was healed of Arthritis!! ...........

My sister-in-law told me about Freedom and Fire Ministries and how a woman had ministered to her. She could not believe how God moved in her life right there and then. She insisted on me getting prayer for my arthritis. I have been a Christian for 20 years and I was skeptical about healing because I have had people pray for me before. I am 39 years old and I suffered from arthritis badly, the doctors even said to me that I am too young to have arthritis in my fingers.

I have been to a specialist overseas and taken painkillers and special arthritis medication, but nothing helped long-term. They helped for a couple of hours, but the pain would come back. I had 3 water blisters that I could feel in my fingers, and I could feel them pop when I pushed them down.

I had someone come and pray for my fingers but before that, I had to fill in forms about my past, people who have hurt me, people I have resentment towards, etc. This was scary for me because I did not want to open up old wounds, but I knew I had to do it in order to be set free.

When we started to talk about everything, I began to feel extremely tired. I said "I am sorry that I am so tired I'm never normally this tired at 7 pm". The prayer warrior said that a demon is getting restless in me and it's contributing towards me being tired. This person prayed and the yawning stopped immediately.

This person prayed for my arthritis to be healed and I stood firm in what she prayed for. It has been 3 months and I am fully healed in my fingers. The blisters have left my body and the pain has gone! This lady taught me that the devil will try and come back and deceive me which it has, but I have learned through this to rebuke him and continue to pray for my healing. I have stopped taking my arthritis medication as I am healed!

God has been so good to me, and it's been so good to see where arthritis stems from, it came from resentment and bitterness toward people, and once I let that go my healing came.

All glory to God as he is my doctor, my father and it is finished when Jesus died on the cross for me. I am so glad that I am able to pray for things I never realised that impacted my life.
